2024-25 Oliveira Scholarship
Applicants must submit a completed application by April 12, 2024. Only one application per student.
To be eligible, students must have applied and plan to attend a post-secondary institution for the 2024-25 school year.
Scholarship award will be based on need and potential academic talent in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) as conveyed through this application and supporting documents. The goal of the Oliveira Foundation is to provide scholarships to individuals from Minneapolis who demonstrate financial need to pursue STEM careers.
Scholarship awards range from $2,000-$4,000. Students receiving scholarships are invited to reapply for a renewal of their award in subsequent years.
Scholarship funds may only be applied to tuition, room and board.
Scholarship Requirements:
Family Adjusted Gross Income of $80,000-$180,000* or $0-$180,000 if applying for any private institution
Demonstrate passion for future STEM career
Reside in the United States
Submit a complete application with requested Letter of Recommendation, FAFSA (optional) and 2022 Tax Form 1040
The foundation will keep a record of each grant request, including supporting materials. This information will not be shared with any individuals or organizations outside of the Oliveira Foundation. The foundation will terminate a scholarship based on unsatisfactory academic performance, failure to report information to the foundation or providing false information to the foundation.
Your application will not be reviewed until the Oliveira Scholarship Foundation has received a completed application form, your high school transcript, FAFSA report and the letter of recommendation. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
